PHOENIXVILLE — Stop by the Phoenixville Regional Chamber of Commerce's window this month to learn about Mano's Material Creations.
The chamber's office is located at 171 East Bridge St., Phoenixville.
Mano's Material Creations is celebrating its ninth anniversary this November.
"As a resident of Phoenixville for 33 years, it's been thrilling to provide creative services for local businesses, non-profits, and members of our community," said Florence Mano, co-owner. "Watching our small town grow into a thriving business district has been exciting and we are proud to call Phoenixville home. Over the years, Mano's Material Creations has continued to offer the highest quality embroidery solutions with personalized service and creative pizzazz with the ultimate goal of exceeding our customer's expectations with each and every order."
Mano's Material Creations is a family business.
"My husband helped channel my love of sewing and together we converted my textile and design experience into a viable business opportunity," Florence said. "It was a side project for a few years until I eventually left my longtime career in healthcare to pursue embroidery full time."
The majority of Mano's work is custom orders. Florence said her family has built a reputation of being a go to company for small businesses that need customized apparel for creating unique, one-of-a-kind gifts that you simply can't find anywhere else.
"Many of our connections have been made at networking and community events, local exhibitions, our annual open house, and through referrals from our happy customers," Florence said.
She said in the last couple of years more customers have found the business through Internet search engines and social media.
"We help people turn ordinary items into something extraordinary to celebrate all the seasons of life," Florence said. "We help small business owners transform polo shirts into lead-generating promotions for their company. We help gift-givers turn a small token of appreciation into a memorable and cherished gift. In doing so, we've been fortunate to be part of so many special moments in our customers' lives."
Customers have shopped at Mano's to celebrate events such as new births, communions, graduations, weddings, holidays and even burials.
"Mano's Material Creations is limited only by our creativity," Florence said. "We make every attempt to get to know our customers and understand their goals to ensure they absolutely love the final product. No order is too big or too small. Whether you need one shirt or 500, we will help. We aren't afraid to try new things that other embroidery shops wouldn't dare attempt. Sure, we embroider a lot of hats, jackets, and towels, but we've also customized anything from thongs to toilet paper. If you can imagine it, we'll embroider it for you."
Additionally, Mano's Material Creations is partnered with Signature Stitches to produce fine, hand-made, couture jackets, vests, purses, and wallets under the name Mixed Threads using recycled and vintage upholstery and high-end fabrics from around the world.
